The Church of St. Lambert, Spay
The brick-built church was erected in the neo-Gothic style in 1899. From an architectural and cultural history perspective, it is one of the most interesting historicized church buildings in the Rhineland. Its hexagonal central structure with ambulatory is particularly striking. Most of the interior furnishings (frescoes, high altar, baptismal font) date from around 1900. The valuable stained glass windows and late medieval sculptures also make the church worth visiting.
