Burg Klopp, Bingen

The eventful history of Klopp Castle is tightly interwoven with the history of the burghers of Bingen. Acts of aggression such as capture, storming, pillage and destruction have all taken their toll. It was not until the 19th century that the

castle ruins were rebuilt according to historical plans. The castle keep with its magnificent views, the romantic moat and the castle gardens are well worth a visit.
