Münster-Sarmsheim

This wine-growing community at the gateway to the Nahe Valley originated as a Roman settlement. A precious ancient floor mosaic was found in the village and it can now be admired in the Rheinische Landesmuseum in Bonn. The Gothic parish church of St. Peter and Paul, the Stumpfe Turm tower, the old Rathaus dating from 1520 and the Trollbachtal conservation area are among the village’s most interesting sights.
