Nature trails
Nature and wine are the subjects of these informative hiking trails. The Rhine Valley is blessed with abundant sunshine. The plants and animals of Southern Europe are able to establish themselves here, whereas in other places the northerly climate has already put a stop to the proliferation of certain species.

For a large number of Mediterranean- orientated species, the mild Rhine Valley is their northernmost distribution area. This is also the subject of many of the numerous information panels along the nature trails, which offer textual and visual descriptions of the area’s rich and diverse plant and animal populations. The wine trails, on the other hand, investigate the mysteries of winemaking and show that a good wine has less to do with sorcery and much more to do with craftsmanship, location, climate, soil and wine cellar technology.
